Two of the top four in Serie A clash this weekend, as AC Milan look to keep pace in the title race against a Roma side aiming to cement their place in the UEFA Champions League qualification places. Milan have won more Serie A matches against Roma than any other opponent (81), nine of which have come across the last 16 such H2Hs (D5, L2) including a 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture. Milan have conceded a league-low two goals after half-time in away matches this term.

Roma have enjoyed a productive 2026, winning four of their six matches across all competitions (L2) to put them in strong positions both domestically and in Europe. Massimiliano Allegri’s men have certainly been able to lean on their away form this term, winning four of their last five league games as the nominal visitors (D1), while a return of just two defeats from their last 12 league games against sides from the Italian capital (W7, D3) should have them full of belief again here.

Roma are conceding just 3.2 corners on average per Serie A match this term. Just two of Roma’s league games this season have featured more than one goal before half-time. Milan have failed to score in a pre-round joint-league low one game this season.

Donyell Malen netted on his Roma debut last weekend, with each of his last 11 goalscoring appearances at club level now ending in victory. Strahinja Pavlović struck the winner in Milan’s 1-0 reverse win, while six of his last nine club goals have come away from home.

Roma’s lengthy absentee list includes Stephan El Shaarawy and Mario Hermoso, while Milan pair Ardon Jashari and Alexis Saelemaekers could be missing here.
