Cagliari fans will be very nervous about AC Milan’s arrival at the Unipol Domus on Saturday as the hosts have recorded just one H2H victory over the Rossoneri from 1999 onwards (D8, L31). That victory backed up last weekend’s 1-0 Serie A triumph over Monza and Milan will now be targeting a third successive win in what will be a third straight away game across all competitions. Another three points in Sardinia, where they’ve got the better of Cagliari on each of their last four visits, will see Fonseca’s side keep the top six well within reach as they head into November’s international break.
Players to watch: The hosts have scored in only two league games at home so far this season, but defender Sebastiano Luperto has contributed an assist in both matches. Christian Pulišić has tasted victory and contributed to goals (G2, A2) in all three of his prior H2Hs against Cagliari.
