A 3-2 defeat at Bologna last weekend extended Torino’s frustrating run of form to just one win in nine Serie A matches (D6, L2), leaving them at least five points worse off than at the same stage of the last three seasons. Staring down the barrel of another mid-table finish, the Granata are closer to the relegation zone than the top-six in terms of points, despite being six places from either.

Paolo Vanoli’s side are unbeaten in their last four home league outings (W1, D3), which complements their recent home record against AC Milan, as the hosts seek a third consecutive home win against the Rossoneri for the first time since 1977.
