Fresh off the back of an opening-day league victory, Villarreal will host Girona hoping to once again prove themselves to be worthy of Champions League football. Villarreal have gone three straight La Liga H2H games without defeat (W2, D1) and are on the verge of making it four for the first time in this matchup.
