The first DFB-Pokal semi-final sees two-time winners Bayer Leverkusen welcome a Bayern Munchen side who confirmed their 35th German championship on Sunday. Three of their five eliminations since then came in the second round, though the consistency shown in overcoming fellow top-flight opponents in the last three rounds while scoring a combined nine goals has raised hopes of a cup resurgence.
