Barcelona vs Real Madrid Full Match Highlights Replay Copa Del Rey Final 2025.
2025 Copa del Rey final was a football match to decide the winners of the 2024–25 Copa del Rey, the 123rd edition of Spain’s primary football cup (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was played on 26 April 2025 at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville – in the first event at the venue following its expansion and conversion from an athletics facility ahead of its use at the 2030 FIFA World Cup – between arch rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid. It was the 260th competitive match between the sides and the first in a Copa del Rey final since 2014.

2025 Copa del Rey final pits Barcelona, the team that have won this competition more than anyone else (31 times), against great rivals Real Madrid in a first El Clásico at this stage since 2013/14. Barcelona lost 2-1 on that occasion, but they’ve comprehensively won the last two H2Hs and top the La Liga table, so will start as favourites as they bid for their first Copa del Rey title since 2020/21 when they beat Athletic Club 4-0.

Barcelona opened their latest Copa del Rey campaign with three straight victories while scoring 4+ goals, before winning an epic semi-final 5-4 on aggregate against Atlético Madrid to get to this stage. While Hansi Flick’s side are in great form, losing just one of their last 27 games (W22, D4), they’re not without concerns with star striker Robert Lewandowski injured. His absence was sorely felt in midweek when they registered a remarkable 40 shots against Mallorca while only scoring once (W 1-0).

While Barcelona are still chasing the treble with a UEFA Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan coming up, the Copa del Rey would seem to offer Real Madrid – four points behind them in the league – their best chance of claiming more silverware this season. Following an otherwise underwhelming campaign, head coach Carlo Ancelotti looks set to depart whether or not he claims a third Copa del Rey success in charge of Los Blancos, most recently lifting the trophy in 2023.

Like Barça, Real Madrid started their Copa del Rey campaign in free-scoring fashion before also winning their semi-final 5-4 on aggregate, needing extra-time to see off Real Sociedad. They too have personnel concerns as David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga were both injured against Getafe on Wednesday (W 1-0), but are hopeful Kylian Mbappé will be available to try to help them avoid a third successive H2H defeat, a fate they haven’t suffered since 2023.

Players to watch: Ferran Torres has scored five Copa del Rey goals this season, more than any other Barcelona player – he opened the scoring in two of their last three games in this competition. For Real Madrid, Endrick has matched Torres’ tally of five goals, and having scored in each of their last four Copa del Rey games, three times between the 15th and 35th minute, could be set to play a big part here.
Hot streak: Only two of the last 26 Copa del Rey finals were decided via penalties.
