Ruben Amorim’s unbeaten start to life as Manchester United manager ended on Wednesday night as his side were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal. Amorim’s first league defeat on the touchline since December 2023 was brought about by a set-piece barrage, with both goals coming from corners, and while he admitted his side “have to be better” in those situations, the way his team defended for large periods offered promise of what’s to come.
