Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will hope that a 6-2 FA Cup win over second-tier QPR injects some confidence into his dressing room as the Foxes look to stave off an immediate return to the Championship. That victory came on the back of a five-match losing streak in the Premier League to leave them two points adrift of safety pre-round, with all but one of those defeats coming by multiple-goal margins.

The exception was a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa most recently, and they’ll look to carry momentum from an encouraging performance there into this clash with Crystal Palace. Players to watch: Leicester City’s Jordan Ayew will be out to haunt his former side and any strike from him here could arrive late since three of his four Premier League goals this season have come beyond the 90th minute. Only against Aston Villa (4) has Jean-Philippe Mateta scored more Premier League goals than against Leicester City, with two of his three strikes against the Foxes coming in this season’s reverse fixture (D 2-2).
