Matchday three of the 2025/26 Premier League witnesses another London derby, this time as Chelsea welcome near-neighbours Fulham to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have lost just 8.3% of their Premier League games against Fulham (W22, D11, L3), the joint-lowest loss rate any one team has against another in the competition when facing off at least 20 times. Chelsea have kept six clean sheets across their last eight home league games.

After failing to make much of an impact in their 0-0 stalemate vs Crystal Palace on MD1, Chelsea responded quickly to beat West Ham 5-1 on the road to get their new Premier League campaign underway. That will have pleased manager Enzo Maresca as he continues to mould his new signings into the first team picture, such as 18-year-old Estêvão who became the youngest player to assist a league goal for the club. He could play a big part again here as the hosts look to further extend their return of one defeat across their last 11 league outings (W7, D3).

Following their midweek EFL Cup game at home to Bristol City, Fulham make the very short trip down the road looking to spoil the party, and they arrive unbeaten in the Premier League after 1-1 draws with Brighton and Manchester United, both of which saw them come from behind to take a point. That has been a habit of the Cottagers since the start of last season with no side winning more points from losing positions in the competition than Fulham (23), three of which came in a surprise 2-1 victory over their rivals in this corresponding fixture last campaign.

Chelsea lost only one of their last 25 (W18, D6) Premier League home games as a favourite. Fulham won four of their last eight away Premier League London derbies (D2, L2), as many as their previous 68 combined (W4, D21, L43). Fulham failed to score in just two of their last 19 away league matches.

Chelsea’s João Pedro has struck four goals across his four starts for the club and he also recorded a goal and an assist across his two H2Hs in 2024/25. Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz enjoys life on the road, netting six goals across his last ten away league games, whilst he also struck a late winner in this match last campaign.

Chelsea could also be without Cole Palmer here after he was withdrawn from their game against West Ham. Fulham manager Marco Silva has a near full-strength squad to select from after Antonee Robinson made an appearance off the bench against United.
