Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Full Match Highlights Replay.
The 2024/25 Premier League season continues to go from strength to strength for high-flying Bournemouth, who took another step towards European qualification last weekend when they defeated bottom-club Southampton 3-1. Despite their opposition’s lowly position, the Cherries still did well to come through that South Coast derby unscathed, extending their current run across all competitions to just one defeat in 15 in the process (W10, D4).

That return sees Bournemouth begin this latest matchday sat in the dizzying heights of fifth place, though that success has potentially come at a hefty cost as Tottenham are now heavily rumoured to want Andoni Iraola to be their next manager. In the meantime, the Spaniard will be keen to see his side win again this weekend and complete just a third-ever league double over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It’s safe to say that the visitors will be keen to deny them that opportunity, as they continue to battle against relegation this term. Wolverhampton Wanderers put in a spirited display at Anfield against league leaders Liverpool last weekend, but it wasn’t enough to stop them falling to a 2-1 defeat on Merseyside, after which boss Vítor Pereira peculiarly claimed he didn’t care about results as long as his side “take risks and play with courage”.

It’s results that Pereira’s side need though, as they hover just two points above the bottom three pre-round, and are therefore in desperate need of ending their four-match winless away league run (D1, L3). For many, a trip to Bournemouth may look a tough assignment on paper, but Wolverhampton Wanderers do at least hold a much-needed trump card as they’re unbeaten in each of four of their prior Premier League away H2Hs (W2, D2) – their most away games against an opponent without ever losing in the competition’s history.

Players to watch: Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattara is a man in form at the moment, recording nine goal contributions across his last 11 Premier League appearances (G6, A3). Similarly as active in front of goal of late, Matheus Cunha found the back of the net for Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield to take his seasonal tally to 12 league goals, whilst he also scored in this corresponding fixture last campaign.

Hot stat: Wolverhampton Wanderers last ten Premier League away matches have averaged 4.1 goals per game.
