Bayern Munchen promises to be one of Europe’s most attractive football destinations this weekend as Bayern Munich welcome the team that stripped them of their 11-year stranglehold on the Bundesliga last season, Bayer Leverkusen. It’ll be backdropped by the ongoing Oktoberfest, although Bayern haven’t fared so well during this renowned period in the German calendar, winning only half of their last ten home league games during the festival (D3, L2).

Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface recorded four goal contributions across his last two league games with his stoppage time winner in the previous round, although one here would represent a first against Bayern Munchen.
