Manchester City are doing all they can to keep the Premier League title fight alive, and they should be hopeful of keeping their good run going against Fulham as they’ve completely dominated this H2H in recent times. Manchester City have won the last 16 Premier League H2Hs and the last 19 meetings in any competition, both of which are records in English football. Manchester City have won the last 11 home H2Hs, although both teams scored in each of the last four. Manchester City won exactly four corners in each of their last three Premier League fixtures.

Manchester City left it late to come from behind and beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday, finishing the round six points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal by extending their unbeaten run in all competitions to five matches (W4, D1). After scoring exactly twice in each of their last three league fixtures, the Cityzens will be confident of picking up more points in this quick return to top-flight action given they’re unbeaten across their last 55 midweek Premier League outings (W47, D8) and are also unbeaten in 11 consecutive home league outings (W9, D2).

Fulham ended the weekend just inside the top half but they’ve lost three of their last four in the league (W1) following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Everton, their fifth consecutive top-flight game to be decided by a one-goal margin (W2, L3). Manager Marco Silva has bemoaned a lack of ruthlessness, and he’ll surely be stressing the need to stay switched on throughout as the Cottagers have lost their last two away league games by conceding in injury time, including their last trip to these parts, when they were beaten 3-2 by Manchester United earlier this month.

Manchester City have led a league-high 16 Premier League games at half-time this season (HT: D7, L2). Fulham have scored in 13 of their last 14 top-flight matches. Each of Fulham’s last five away league games witnessed at least one goal after the 75th minute.

Erling Haaland scored Manchester City’s dramatic late winner on Sunday and has a prolific record in this fixture, registering ten goal contributions (G7, A3) in seven league H2Hs. Fulham forward Raúl Jiménez has netted his last five Premier League goals after half-time.

Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov was withdrawn from Sunday’s action with a head injury so faces assessment before this game. Fulham midfielder Saša Lukić has missed their last three matches.
