Two early goals were enough for Fiorentina to defeat Lazio 2-1 last weekend for their first win in eight matches (D3, L4), rejuvenating La Viola’s top-four hopes in Serie A as they start this round of fixtures three points behind the UEFA Champions League qualification spots with a game in hand. Raffaele Palladino will now hope that his side can go on a winning run, as the last time they won consecutive league encounters was a sequence of eight between October and early December.
