Atalanta and Juventus both made important strides in their respective bids to depose Como from fourth place last round and will hope to stretch their unbeaten runs here. Atalanta are unbeaten in four competitive H2Hs (W2, D2), with February’s Coppa Italia triumph being their only victory in their last six home H2Hs (D3, L2). Only Como have scored more than Atalanta’s six home league goals in the opening 15 minutes pre-round.

After registering back-to-back clean-sheet victories, including their comfortable 3-0 win over relegation-threatened Lecce, Atalanta moved to within just one point of the top-six at the end of the last round. La Dea stretched their unbeaten run in Serie A to four matches (W2, D2) with that result and now have more points (53) than they had at this stage of three of their previous four seasons. They should be confident their winning form can help them rise to the challenge of Juventus, with a fair record of just two defeats from their nine Serie A matches against current top-six sides (W2, D5) complementing their almost perfect Serie A home record in 2026 (W6, D1).

Juventus stretched their unbeaten league run to five matches (W3, D2) with their 2-0 victory over Genoa, which saw the Bianconeri sit just one point behind fourth-placed Como at the end of last round. It also marked their third clean-sheet victory in four matches, with that run including a breakthrough 1-0 win at Udinese in their most recent away game. That ended a run of four consecutive competitive away games without victory (D1, L3) in which they conceded at least three goals, including their elimination from the Coppa Italia at the hands of Atalanta. Yet to win a Serie A game away to a current top-seven side this season (D1, L3), a victory here could be a massive boost to their morale and their top-four hopes.

Just one of Atalanta’s five home league matches against other current top-seven sides produced over 2.5 goals. Only Inter and Milan have opened the scoring on the road more often than Juventus (nine). Five of Juventus’ last six competitive away matches produced over 2.5 goals.

Giacomo Raspadori has scored each of his four club goals this season in victories with over 2.5 goals, whilst both his strikes for Atalanta came during the 73rd minute. Gleison Bremer has now won nine of his last ten scoring matches for Juventus (D1), grabbing the game’s first goal in all three such outings this term.

Atalanta are still without Isak Hien and Gianluca Scamacca. Juventus pair Mattia Perin and Dušan Vlahović are both injured, while Weston McKennie is suspended for this match.
