Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Full Match Highlights Replay.
Arsenal will hope their brief winter break has helped hit the reset button on their faltering campaign, after a 2-0 FA Cup third round loss at home to Liverpool nearly two weeks ago extended their rotten run to just one win in seven competitive matches (D2, L4). That’s their fewest victories across a seven-game period under manager Mikel Arteta. The last three games in that streak ended in defeats, despite the Gunners accumulating 61 shots, but scoring just one goal in that time has put the pressure on their misfiring attack.

Hoping for a change of fortunes, the North London side might welcome the visit of Crystal Palace, a team they’ve defeated in each of the last three H2Hs. The away side start the round in 14th, which should be yet more comfort for the hosts as Arsenal boast a 100% record this season against sides currently sitting inside the bottom seven (W7).

Unlike their hosts, Crystal Palace have had far less time to prepare for this clash due to their FA Cup third round replay at Goodison Park on Wednesday night. Even so, after not playing a Premier League fixture since way back on 30 December, they could be pleased to get back to league action, especially as they have the chance to register successive wins in the competition for the first time since April 2023 when they won their first three following Roy Hodgson’s return to the club.

However, they’re considered enormous underdogs to achieve that feat and understandably so. Not only are these two sides separated by a vast gap in the table, but Palace also have a rotten record against their neighbours in recent times. The Eagles have picked up fewer points in Premier League London derbies this season than any other side (six – W1, D3, L3), while on the road they won just one of their last 17 matches against fellow capital clubs (D9 L7).

Players to watch: Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has been involved in 15 goals in his last 18 Premier League London derby matches (G6, A9). Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta has an eye for scoring against the league’s big-hitters, with his two league goals this term both coming after half-time against two of the other sides inside the top-four.

Hot stat: Crystal Palace have conceded a league-high 38% of their goals (11) beyond the 75th minute.
